Vein Treatments and Removal Gilbert, AZ

Varicose vein treatments at the Center for Venous Disease (CVD)

Our latest technology is the VNUS ClosureFAST™ radiofrequency vein ablation catheter. It is used to treat the source of your varicose veins. We are a VNUS certified training site to train other doctors in this procedure. We have completed thousands of procedures with a 98+% success rate. Our founder has used VNUS since 2003. We also use the VNUS ClosureRFS™ (a small catheter stylet) to treat refluxing communicating veins, or perforators. We are the most experienced VNUS providers in the community. We are also the most experienced vein center in the Southwest United States. We even train other doctors on this device and hold regular courses on perforator vein disease. We also provide:

Wound Care – The longer you wait, the more damage will be caused by chronic venous disease. CVD can treat patients prior to venous ulcer formation. Venous ulcers will appear after your skin turns red, flakes or skin breakdown occurs. Wound care is a big part of our practice and we have the experience to treat wounds and their underlying cause. We also provide venous compression stockings to protect and facilitate healing.

DVT Screening – During your first ultrasound, we will rule out a blood clot in your deep venous system and superficial venous system, a condition called deep vein thrombosis (DVT). The incidence of blood clotting is rare, but we will monitor your treatment progress very carefully. Ruling out a blood clot before, during and after your procedures is critically important.

Ultrasound-Guided Sclerotherapy (UGS) – UGS combines the skill of visual sclerotherapy with the technology that ultrasound images offer to enhance the placement of the therapy solution inside the treated vein. UGS is used frequently as the first step in the cosmetic outcome you are looking for. This follows any scheduled vein ablation procedures. CVD uses only FDA-approved sclerotherapy solutions.

Vein Gogh – This proven treatment method utilizes ohmic thermolysis to selectively coagulate small, cosmetically unacceptable blood vessels including spider veins and small angiomas.

Nonsurgical Medical Weight Loss Gilbert, AZ

Nonsurgical Medical Weight Loss

Real MD-supervised weight loss: medical, nonsurgical & effective

The challenges many people face while attempting to lose weight can be tremendous. At SKINovative, we offer multiple methods for weight loss that can be used alone or in combination to help you achieve your goals. We require a consultation and labs prior to starting any weight loss program to assess your health and create the weight loss program that best fits your personality and goals. We offer:

Phentermine – Phentermine is the most commonly prescribed prescription appetite suppressant, accounting for 50% of prescriptions. Phentermine first received approval from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 1959 as an appetite suppressant for the short-term treatment of obesity.

HCG Injections for Weight Loss – HCG is a hormone naturally produced in the body. HCG has been used since the 1950s to help with weight loss but was recently rediscovered. It is now one of the most popular weight loss methods. We use a very low-calorie diet together with HCG to reduce fat without affecting your bone or muscle.

Mic B and B12 Injections – When injected, vitamin B12 and Mic B are easily absorbed by the body and then utilized in the formation of red blood cells as well as helping to maintain a healthy nervous and cardiovascular system. The three major health benefits of vitamin Mic B  and B12 injections are an increase in energy, sleeping better and a feeling of alertness.

Eliminate the time, expense, discomfort, longer healing and possible side effects of alternative skin resurfacing treatments. If you have minor skin problems – fine lines, mild acne, blotches, pigmentation or small scars – you may be a good candidate for the following treatments. There’s less recovery time, minimal discomfort and you can resume normal activities immediately.

DermaSweep™ microdermabrasion – A revolutionary new system that uses precision brush tip exfoliation and sweeps away dead skin without the hazards of older systems. At SKINovative, this technology combines precision brush tip exfoliation, topical solutions and variable vacuum pressure for the most precise, efficacious and comfortable skin treatments available. The gently abrasive action exfoliates the outermost layers of the skin and allows younger, healthier skin to show. A full-face treatment generally takes just 30 to 40 minutes.

Following the treatment, your skin appears lightly pink, but there is no oozing or obvious redness. Some patients say their face feels as if they have been mildly sun- or wind-burned. Similar to a light peel, the procedure can improve fine lines and facial wrinkles, remove blackheads, whiteheads and superficial pigmentation and give the skin a healthy glow. The system can be used in conjunction with infusions, chemical peels or laser skin resurfacing or IPL photofacial, as well.
